Brantner Development, LLC, is owned by Stan and Terri Brantner who came to Cosby 23 years ago and plan to stay for many, many more. What they find special here, besides the beautiful scenery of the mountains and streams, is the fact that there are four seasons. Best of all, each season doesn't seem to stay long enough! There is snow in the Winter, but not too much! The beauty of the Spring rivals the spectacular Fall colors, and the forests are as unique as the snow-capped mountains.
Stan has been involved with construction since he was about 10 years old, when he began working with his father and grandfather who were both builders. Although Stan still enjoys building houses, the priority with Brantner Development, LLC, is the spectacular properties that it owns and is willing to share with you. Why not choose to come live the good life with them and the friendly people of Cocke County, East Tennessee? You will be near enough to Gatlinburg and the Smokies to share in their absolute beauty (and other amenities), but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness and fresh air of the mountains and valleys and streams.
Brantner Development, LLC currently has 3 separate areas under development, all located in Cosby, Tennessee. Cosby lies on Highway 321 just west of I-40, between the cities of Newport and Gatlinburg, TN., and at the east entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Gatlinburg, with its ideallic mountainous setting, and Pigeon Forge, with all of the tourist's attractions such as Dollywood, Outlet Malls, Restaurants, etc., are just minutes away (close enough to be enjoyed occasionally and ignored when desired).
For heavy shopping Knoxville, TN and Asheville, NC are about an hour away. Some of the finest white water rafting is also accomplished on the Pigeon River as it runs through Cosby, TN.
All of our developments have wide, county-approved, blacktop roads, county water, and underground utilities, all of which help to preserve and enhance the natural beauty of the area. Tennessee residents currently enjoy no state taxes, and Cocke County offers low property tax rates. |
